DIRECTIONS TO RICHMOND RACEWAY COMPLEX – GEAR 2008
All Coaches – Attendees, Committee, Vendors and Exhibitors

Please use the directions given below when arriving – they have been chosen to minimize congestion and confusion. If your GPS or mapping software suggests a different route, please disregard it. All coaches will enter the Complex via I-295 just north of Richmond, then Meadowbridge Road, and finally the southwest Service Gate.

FROM THE NORTH OR SOUTH:

Traveling in either direction on I-95, take Exit 84-A to I-295 South toward Norfolk and Rocky Mount. (Note – from the north, this is a LEFT Exit, in an extremely heavy traffic area. Use extreme caution!) Continue on I-295 about 5 miles to Exit 38-B, then follow the common directions below.

FROM THE WEST:

Traveling east on I-64, take Exit 177 to I-295. (Note – be alert for ongoing construction in this area!) Continue on I-295 about 14 miles to Exit 38-B, then follow the common directions below.

FROM THE EAST:

Traveling west on I-64, take Exit 200 and quickly bear right onto I-295 North toward Washington. Continue on I-295 about 10 miles to Exit 38-B, then follow the common directions below.

COMMON DIRECTIONS - FROM ALL APPROACHES:

From I-295, take Exit 38-B onto Meadowbridge Road (Route 627 West). Travel west through four (4) traffic lights and turn left into the Service Gate of the Richmond Raceway Complex, a distance of about 5 miles. (Note that Meadowbridge Road changes name to Richmond-Henrico Turnpike before you reach the turn into the gate.) Follow the FMCA Signs, Official Greeters, and Parkers to your assigned parking spot.
