Eastern Area
Seminar 5, with Skip Skipper
Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the mighty
Mississippi in Memphis, Tennessee, to the west, you'll find plenty
to see and do in this part of the country to keep you busy --
including FMCA Eastern Area chapter activities. If you're from
Delaware, the District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, North
Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, or West
Virginia, or if you are a member of one of the 39 chapters in the
Eastern Area or wish to become a member, you'll want to attend this
gathering and meet your Eastern Area vice president, Skip Skipper,
and his wife, Helen. The agenda includes the scope of the Eastern
Area; recognition and introduction of first-timers, non-chapter
members, special guests, and area chapters represented; Eastern Area
rally plans for 2002 and beyond; Eastern Area Motorhome Association
update; a question-and-answer period; and any other old or new
business.
Southeast Area
Seminar 4, with Mary Lawler
The Southeast Area has only a few states -- Alabama, Florida,
Georgia, Mississippi -- but numerous chapters to pique your
interest. Come to the Southeast Area gathering and meet your area
vice president, Mary Lawler, and her husband, Russ. Enjoy a warm
welcome from the "warm" and "sunny" chapters that reside in a part
of the country known for fun.
Great Lakes Area
Seminar 3, with Don Crawford
From the many ports on the Great Lakes and the Ohio River, through
the grassy plains and rich farmlands of Ohio and Indiana, to the
crystal-clear lakes and industrial cities of Michigan, then crossing
the border to the beautiful countryside of Ontario, Canada, with its
large and extremely well-kept cities, the Great Lakes Area is as
fine a place as there is in North America. If you call this area
home, or if you would just like to, please stop by and meet Don
Crawford, your Great Lakes Area vice president, and his wife, Kathy.
Rocky Mountain Area
Seminar 11, with Len Pigg
Truly a must on your seminar agenda. The Rocky Mountain Area
Gathering at this
Extravaganza promises to be both extremely important and very
informative as it will serve as a launch pad for some very exciting
upcoming events in the Rocky Mountain Area. The activities planned
at the 20th Rocky Mountain Ramble will be outlined. Set for Tucson,
Arizona, in February, 2003, it could very well be the largest ever.
If approved by the Governing Board, the Rocky Mountain Area will
host the 71st Premier International Motorhome Extravaganza in
Albuquerque, New Mexico, in the Spring of 2004. Chapter
representatives will outline their responsibilities in support of
this huge undertaking. You will have an opportunity to meet the
newly elected Rocky Mountain Association officers and hear their
plans to make the Rocky Mountain Area even more viable in the coming
months and years. The new FMCA Bylaws and Procedures official vote
will be voted up or down by the Governing Board prior to the meeting
so we will reserve time for a question-and-answer session on the
impact of that vote. Certainly a meeting you won't want to miss.
We'll see you there.
Western Area
Seminar 2, with Bill Walker
The Western Area consists primarily of the state of California
except one chapter that's based in Reno, Nevada. Also this year our
newly elected area vice president, Tony Vincent, and his wife Betty,
will be here to greet you. We have many members here as well as most
of our executive board. This is a good opportunity to hear and share
some of the unique and the variety of the chapter activities.
Looking forward to seeing all WHMA members. Non-chapter members are
most welcomed.
Northeast Area
Seminar 12, with Bill Gowen
The Northeast Area includes New Jersey, New York, the six New
England states, and Quebec and the Maritime provinces of Canada. We
have a very interesting group of chapters now numbering 41. FMCA
began in the state of Maine in 1963. We call the Northeast Area
"where it all began." Northeast Area vice president Bill Gowen and
his wife, Diana, will be on hand to answer your questions. Chapters
are the "real" FMCA. Chapter officers in attendance will tell you
about their activities.
Midwest Area
Seminar 6, with Don Moore
The Midwest Area consists of Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska,
North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Saskatchewan and
Manitoba, Canada. If you are here from this area, please attend the
Midwest Area gathering. Meet your area vice president, Don Moore;
his wife, Darlene; and other Midwest Area co-operative (MAC)
officers. Hear what's new in the Midwest. If you're interested in
joining a chapter or meeting other RVing people like yourself, plan
to attend and enjoy the fun.
South Central Area
Seminar 1, with Jim Ammenheuser
Throughout Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, and
Texas, you'll find some of the nicest FMCA members in the country.
Representatives of South Central Area chapters are interested in
telling you about the many activities that occur in this part of the
country. Many of them will be at the South Central Area gathering
along with Jim Ammenheuser, your South Central Area vice president,
and his wife, Kitty. They'll introduce you to some "high country"
fun through their area chapters. Take a few minutes to meet some new
friends, and learn about the South Central area chapters that
interest you. See you there!
Northwest Area
Seminar 10, with Jim Phillips
If you hail from the "Beautiful Northwest Area" and parts
thereabouts -- Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and
British Columbia and Alberta, Canada -- drop by for a visit with
your Northwest Area vice president, Jim Phillips, F158824, and his
wife, Ann. You also can visit with many of the folks from the
Northwest Area. Learn about the area's active chapters and find out
why you might wish to join one or more of them in order to get
greater enjoyment and fun out of your FMCA membership!
7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
EVENING ENTERTAINMENT, GRANDSTAND
