EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
FIRE, POLICE, MEDICAL EMERGENCIES/AMBULANCES:
Call 911
When you call the emergency number, 911, tell the dispatcher your
location. If you do not have immediate access to a telephone, please
send someone to the Information Center in the Lower Atrium of the

emergency in a parking area, persons needing help should turn on
their motorhome's emergency flashers and sound their horns.
Fire Emergency
In the event of a motorhome fire emergency, please evacuate by foot.
Do not attempt to move your motorhome, because this may present a
dangerous situation for fire equipment attempting to enter the area,
as well as for others attempting to evacuate on foot.

Golf cart transportation will be provided for those members who have
registered for the Handicapped parking areas. FMCA Golf Cart Service
will transport those members parked in the Handicapped Lots B, E, F,
G, and H to and from their coaches to all activity centers. Please
check with the Handicap Transport Coordinator for specific
schedules.
Handicapped members who choose to park in the family parking lots
may use the FMCA Golf Cart Service for travel inside the activity
area and to and from the tram stations only. Handicap transportation
to and from the family parking areas is not available.
Handicapped members parked in the family parking lots who wish to
avail themselves of this service, please go to the Information Desk
in the Lower Atrium of the North Dakota State Fair Center and have a
sticker affixed to your convention name badge. This is the golf cart
drivers' only means of identifying you.
Additional six-person golf carts will roam the seminar and exhibit
areas, providing shuttle service for other convention attendees and
guests.
VEHICLE TRAFFIC
Family member vehicle traffic is restricted to the family parking
areas only. No family member vehicle traffic is permitted in the
exhibits/convention activity areas.
Please remember that golf carts must have lights if used after dark.
All motor vehicles, mopeds, motorbikes, and three-wheelers must be
operated by licensed drivers only. Please remember that pedestrians
always have the right-of-way.
While we wish for you to have an enjoyable time on the grounds, we
also are concerned about your safety. Please be courteous when
operating golf carts, mopeds, scooters, and other motorized vehicles
around the grounds. Members and guests who continue to operate these
vehicles in an unsafe manner after being warned will be asked to
cease the use of these vehicles. Continued violations may result in
removal from the fairgrounds.
The speed limit for mopeds, motorbikes, golf carts, and bicycles is
5 mph while on North Dakota State Fairgrounds property. This speed
limit will be strictly enforced.
Only Authorized and licensed vehicles are permitted on the city
streets of Minot.
WAL-MART PHARMACY
Although there is a Wal-Mart in Minot, state law prohibits
pharmacies in stores.
WATER
Water is located at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds near the
permanent dump stations in Lots K and N. (See grounds map for exact
locations.)
WHEELCHAIRS
A limited number of wheelchairs will be available at the Information
Center in the Lower Atrium of the North Dakota State Fair Center.
Wheelchairs are on loan to FMCA members at no charge. You will be
required, however, to leave a deposit (credit card number), your
name, and membership number. All wheelchairs must be returned to the
FMCA Information Center no later than 9:30 p.m. Thursday evening.
Please check in wheelchairs with the security guard so your account
is not charged. Your credit card account will be charged for the
