Chapter Fair part of 'Fast Track'
If FMCA were a motorhome, its
chapters would be the engine that powers it.
Chapters are FMCA’s subgroups that
foster a sense of closeness among the association’s broad membership
base. The road they travel is filled with fun, camaraderie and
information exchange.
Many of the “engine” components will
be on display at FMCA’s fourth Chapter Fair during the
Charlotte/Concord convention.
To encourage chapter membership,
chapters from across North America will set up creative displays
that reflect the personality of their particular group.
Plan to attend the fair on Tuesday,
Aug. 15, from 10 a.m. to noon on the concourse level, near gate 3.
The fair is open to all convention attendees.
Find your match
Most of FMCA's 489 chapters share a common geographical area. About
90 of those are based on a special interest such as motorhome brand,
crafts, golf, dining, gaming or other hobby. The Chapter Fair is a
perfect opportunity to find a chapter that matches your interest or
is in your geographic area.
Attendees can talk one-on-one with
representatives of multiple chapters. Find out why and how chapter
involvement heightens their enjoyment of motorhoming.
How do you join a chapter? Where and
how often does a chapter meet? What takes place at chapter
gatherings? How do you start a new chapter? Answers to these
questions plus anything else you want to know about chapter
membership will be accessible.
Prizes
Non-chapter members will be eligible to win one of five Wal-Mart
gift cards. Participating chapters can win a ribbon and a prize
package for best decorated area.
At the last Chapter Fair, held in
Pomona, Calif., 60 chapters and each of the 10 FMCA areas were
represented. The Holiday Rambler International, Southwestern Bus
Nuts, and Beaver Ambassador Club chapters received special
recognition for their display efforts.
Each chapter will also receive a
certificate recognizing its participation in the fair.
Reserve your spot
Chapters interested in participating in the Chapter Fair should have

an informational booth in the indoor exhibit area during the
convention. Visit booth #399.
“Fast Track to Fun” is the designated
theme for the Charlotte/Concord convention, but it has always
applied to FMCA’s chapters. Visit the Chapter Fair and you’ll
understand.
