When it comes to helping
charities in or near towns that host FMCA conventions, FMCA members
tend to set the pace.
Members “can” make a
difference in the lives of many families in the Charlotte/Concord,
N.C., areas by supporting the official charities for FMCA’s 76th
international convention:
To assist the food
pantry, convention attendees are asked to bring a canned good or
other food item to the Information Center at the Nextel Garage
beginning on Sunday, Aug. 13.
Requested items
Here are the current food pantry needs:
-
Cans of fruit
-
Cans of beans (pork
and beans, pinto, kidney)
-
Mustard, mayonnaise
-
Cans of vegetables
(potatoes, peas, carrots, mixed vegetables)
-
Cans of meat products
-
Cans of soup

The Cooperative Christian
Ministry will pick up these items during the convention. The last

The Cooperative Christian Ministry’s goals are to meet the needs of
people in crisis and to empower them to make positive, lasting life
changes.
Many churches, organizations and individuals donate their time and
money to assist the ministry.
