Special Activities

BINGO
Tuesday and Wednesday
March 21 and 22
4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Building 22

It's always fun playing this game with friends old and new. The ambassadors from the La Verne Chamber of Commerce are coordinating the bingo. To make sure you get a good seat, stop by the FMCA Information Center in Building 22 and sign up.

CHAPTER FAIR
Monday, March 20
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Seminar 6, Building 7A

Come find out one of the best-kept secrets of FMCA — chapter membership. This is a rare opportunity to see individual chapters showcasing their unique qualities — music, golfing, gaming, dining, sharing coach tips, or just kibitzing about motorhoming experiences. The variety of chapters will astound you, but watch out. Chapter members are exceptionally enthusiastic about this way of life ... it can be contagious. Door prizes will be awarded to several, lucky, non-chapter members.

COFFEE AND DOUGHNUTS
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
March 21, 22, and 23
7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Coffee and doughnuts will be provided at the Coffee Hour area, located at the Foretravel Daytime Entertainment Stage in the covered awning area in Lot C, each morning beginning at 7:00 a.m., while quantities last, compliments of Caterpillar, Inc., C4743, an FMCA Super Star sponsor.

CONVENTION CASH
Watch out for the "Surprise Patrol," which will be randomly rewarding members for participating in various events during FMCA's 75th International Convention. Prizes awarded will be in the form of cash certificates that may be redeemed at participating exhibitors. Please see "Surprise Patrol" in this section of the convention program for more information. Have fun!

EXERCISE
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
March 21, 22, and 23
7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
Seminar 7, Building 7

“Early Morning Workout For All,” which will incorporate exercise demonstrations from the Travelfit Rehab series seminars — Shoulder, Knee, and Back Health — will be presented by Wayne and Dahelia Hunt, F235156. These health, exercise, and resistance-training specialists have been full-time RVers since 1995, and are health-wellness-fitness-performance educators and national presenters with more than 25 years of experience in their field. TravelFit and Professional Fitness Instructor Training are in association with the American College of Integrative Medicine. Wayne and Dahelia are directors of the Health Fitness Performance Institute in Houston, Texas. Exercise is medicine.

FAIRPLEX FOUNDATIONS
The earliest years of a child’s life are key when it comes to establishing a solid foundation for learning. Children who participate in stimulating experiences develop enhanced learning capabilities, which improve their odds for doing well in school and in life. There are long-term benefits from a quality early childhood education, and the Child Development Center at Fairplex is committed to providing top quality to all the children it serves.

Please visit the Fairplex Foundations table located at the Information Center, Building 22, to make a 100 per cent tax deductible donation to the Child Development Center, or to purchase a bookmark and/or a work of art, handmade by the children from the center. All proceeds will go to the Child Development Center's Family Literacy Program. If you have any questions please contact Susette Aguiar-Possnack at aguiar@fairplex.com or at (909) 865-4206.

FAIRPLEX PARK CLUBHOUSE
Wednesday through Sunday
10:00 a.m.
Admission $3

Fairplex Park is a friendly off-track wagering facility. Live video coverage of thoroughbred racing from Santa Anita, with night racing of quarter horses at Los Alamitos, and harness racing at Cal Expo. Races from tracks across the country are also shown on our many big-screen televisions.

FLAG PROGRAM/ONE NATION UNDER GOD
Sunday, March 19
7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Seminar 5, Building 5

Members of FMCA’s Executive East Pioneers chapter, with assistance from members of Newmar International chapter, will present this fascinating program that traces the history of the United States through the use of numerous flags that have flown over this great land at one time or another. Participants, dressed in period clothing, will present 36 flags, each accompanied by a corresponding story.

The program, which is produced and directed by Woody and Jeannie Miller, F233882, begins with the Pilgrims, marches through numerous armed conflicts the United States has engaged in, and culminates with veterans of all branches of the military presenting today’s version of the Stars and Stripes. The program was first conceived by the Millers in 1990 and is a stirring presentation that will fill every American with pride.

Thursday, March 23
11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
