Directions to Alliant Energy Center and Lake Farm Park, Madison, Wisconsin

Parking days for FMCA's 86th Family Reunion & Motorhome will be August 8, 9 and 10, 2011. Convention dates are August 10 to 13.

Parking will commence Monday, August 8, at 7 a.m. Please display your admittance card on the lower left-hand corner of the driver side windshield.

The Holding Area will open Sunday, August 7, and is located at Lake Farm Park on Libby Road.

Please go to the Holding Area if you:

  • would like to meet and park with friends;
  • requested that your credentials be held at Will Call;
  • arrive before the date on your admittance card;
  • are an individual family arriving for the Family Reunion without a specific affiliated credential (Governing Board, advance crew, volunteer, handicap or in a registered caravan); or
  • are not pre-registered for the Family Reunion.

Although you may see shorter routes to the facilities, the routes outlined here have been coordinated with local police to provide for the safety of convention attendees and to minimize traffic tie-ups as much as possible. Your cooperation is very important and is appreciated by everyone.

HOLDING AREA AT LAKE FARM PARK

FROM THE EAST: Travel west on US Highway 12/US Highway 18 and take Exit 264, South Towne Drive. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto South Towne Drive. Proceed .8 mile, moving into the right-hand lane and continuing through the roundabout. Turn left on Moorland Road and travel .9 mile to Libby Road. Turn left on Libby Road. Travel .6 mile to Lake Farm Park Entrance.

FROM THE WEST: Travel east on US Highway 12/US Highway 18 and take Exit 264, South Towne Drive. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto South Towne Drive. Proceed .8 mile, moving into the right-hand lane and continuing through the roundabout. Turn left on Moorland Road and travel .9 mile to Libby Road. Turn left on Libby Road. Travel .6 mile to Lake Farm Park Entrance.

FROM THE EAST: Travel west on US Highway 12/US Highway 18 and take Exit 262, Rimrock Road. Turn right and proceed .3 mile to Main Gate. Turn left into Main Gate and follow signs to parking.
 
FROM THE WEST: Travel east on US Highway 12/US Highway 18 and take Exit 262, Rimrock Road. Turn left on Rimrock Road, proceed through two stoplights, turn left into Main Gate and follow signs to parking.

CARAVANS and VOLUNTEERS:

FROM THE EAST: Travel west on US Highway 12/US Highway 18 and take Exit 263, John Nolen Drive. Merge into left lane and proceed .7 mile, crossing Rimrock Road to East Olin Avenue. Turn left on East Olin Avenue, travel .2 mile and turn left into the Olin Gate.

FROM THE WEST: Travel east on US Highway 12/US Highway 18 and take Exit 263, John Nolen Drive. Merge into left lane and proceed .7 mile, crossing Rimrock Road to East Olin Avenue. Turn left on East Olin Avenue, travel .2 mile and turn left into the Olin Gate.

HANDICAPPED:

FROM THE EAST: Travel west on US Highway 12/US Highway 18 and take Exit 261 A-B, Park Street/Hwy 151 North. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Park Street and then an immediate right at the stoplight onto West Badger Road. Proceed .9 mile and turn left into the Rusk Gate.

FROM THE WEST: Travel east on US Highway 12/US Highway 18 and take Exit 261, Park Street/Oregon/Hwy 151 North. Turn left onto Park Street, merging into right lane. At the second stoplight, turn right onto West Badger Road. Proceed .9 mile and turn left into the Rusk Gate.

FAMILY PARKING – ELECTRIC, FULL GENERATOR and NON-GENERATOR:

FROM THE EAST: Travel west on US Highway 12/US Highway 18 and take Exit 264, South Towne Drive. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto South Towne Drive. Proceed .8 mile, moving into the right-hand lane and continuing through the roundabout. Turn left on Moorland Road and travel .9 mile to Libby Road. Turn left on Libby Road. Travel .6 mile to Lake Farm Park Entrance.

FROM THE WEST: Travel east on US Highway 12/US Highway 18 and take Exit 262, Rimrock Road. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Rimrock Road and proceed .3 mile to Main Gate. Turn left into Main Gate and follow signs to Lot E for exhibitor check-in.

HOLDING AREA AT LAKE FARM PARK TO ALLIANT ENERGY CENTER (for Motorhomes):

Turn right onto Lake Farm Road and proceed .8 mile to Moorland Road. Turn right onto Moorland Road (Moorland Road turns into South Towne Road) and continue for .8 mile to US Highway 12/US Highway 18. Turn left onto US Highway 12/US Highway 18 and take Exit 262, Rimrock Road. Turn right and proceed .3 mile to Main Gate. Turn left into Main Gate and follow signs to parking.

LAKE FARM PARK TO ALLIANT ENERGY CENTER (For Personal Vehicles):

Turn right onto Lake Farm Road and proceed .8 mile to Moorland Road. Turn left onto Moorland Road and continue for 1.3 miles to Rimrock Road. Turn right onto Rimrock Road and travel .7 mile to the Main Gate. Turn left into Main Gate.

PUBLIC AND PASSPORT PARKING:

Vehicle parking for members and guests purchasing Passports will be located on the north side of Alliant Energy Center. Passport patrons should enter the main gate on Rimrock Road and be directed to the appropriate lot for parking. Due to space constraints, members and guests purchasing Passports and driving motorhomes cannot be accommodated at the Alliant Energy Center.
