Imagine going to one place where you can meet new friends, view the latest motorhomes, shop for RV accessories, learn technical information about motorhoming, and be entertained. That's what you'll find at FMCA's "Southern Homecoming" Family Reunion and Motorhome Showcase.
Join the fun March 14 to 17, 2011, at the Georgia National Fairgounds and Agricenter in Perry, Georgia. This FMCA gathering, for the first time, is open to motorized and non-motorized RVs. Don't worry; there will be enough entertainment and family-friendly activities for everyone.
More than 800 new motorhomes representing a variety of styles and price ranges will be on display, with manufacturers and dealers from across the United States and Canada on hand to showcase the latest luxuries and innovations in production-line units, bus conversion vehicles and custom-built motorhomes.
In addition, the indoor display areas will be filled with vendors offering RV accessories, motorhome components, camping suplies and home products -- all the items needed to help RVers enjoy this wonderful lifestyle. Indoor and outdoor exhibit space is sold-out, so attendees will have much to peruse.
FMCA's seminar program covers just about every aspect of the motorhoming lifestyle, as well as safety, crafts and special interests. Don't forget to stop at the chapter activities area to socialized with fellow FMCAers, have a cold beverage and enjoy many fun games planned throughout the event.
That's not all. Fireworks will be ignited above the lake after the Motorhome Preview on Monday, March 14. FMCA's national officers will compete in pedal boat races to raise money for a Perry food pantry.
To give all RV owners a chance to experience everything an FMCA Family Reunion has to offer, owners of other types of self-contained towable RVs are encouraged to attend the Perry event. Owners of towables may pay the non-member rate to attend the event and receive a one-year subscription to Family Motor Coaching magazine.
Packed with tons of fun and fellowship, the "Southern Homecoming" Family Reunion is sure to convince attendees that friendship really is the tie that binds us all. From the moment you register until the time you retract your levelers and head home or to another FMCA gathering, you'll be glad you decided to join us.
Note for owners of towable RVs:
When registering online, for Coach Make, select TOWABLE SELF-CONTAINED RV (TOW).
