Bonuses planned for Redmond

In addition to three outstanding main evenings of entertainment at Juniper Arena featuring The Texas Tenors, Live Bait and Forever Motown, FMCA is pleased to present two special BONUS evenings.

Bonus nights of entertainment
On Monday night in South Sister, enjoy the 1954 classic movie comedy The Long, Long Trailer, starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. As an added attraction, Todd Fisher, CEO of the Debbie Reynolds Motion Picture Museum, will give a brief introduction to this film. Ms. Ball’s original costume from this movie also will be on display during the screening. Complimentary refreshments will be available while quantities last.

On Tuesday evening, FMCA is honored to have Debbie Reynolds present “A Lifetime of Laughter and Love.” This multimedia presentation will be sure to bring about many memories, smiles and laughter from the audience. This year marks 60 years in the entertainment industry for Debbie Reynolds.

Bonus Bucks
FMCA is once again rewarding members just for having FUN at the convention. When the FMCA Surprise Patrol spots you having a good time at the convention, you will receive Bonus Bucks certificates that are redeemable at exhibits and concessions displaying the “Bonus Bucks” flyer.

There’s more in store …

  • Free Hug Fridays: Friday, Aug. 13, may actually turn out to be a “lucky” day as FMCA celebrates “Free Hug Fridays” at the convention.
  • FMCA Day: Saturday, Aug. 14. Wear your FMCA logo apparel and show your pride far and wide!

Give a BONUS to the Redmond Community
Canned food donations will be accepted at the PRVVC exhibit in the Beef Barn, or at the FMCA Office, to benefit the local food pantry in Redmond.

Tribute to Heroes
Central Oregon Tribute To Heroes will have a replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall on display at Redmond High School, from Thursday, Aug. 12, through Sunday, Aug. 15. Transportation will be provided from the fairgrounds to Redmond High School to see this moving memorial to our veterans.
