Decorative Vase Holder
To spruce up the inside of our coach, I came up with this
decorative idea that can be used in two ways. First, I purchased a fold-up drink
holder designed to be installed in a convenient place to hold drinks in a
passenger vehicle. I glued a pretty piece of ceramic tile (4 inches by 4 inches)
to the base and attached the holder to the wall next to our dining table. When
not in use, the holder folds up with the ceramic tile showing, taking up very
little wall space. But its real use, for romantics like me, is to fold the
holder down and put in a vase with fresh-cut flowers for my faithful navigator.
When traveling, most vases would tip over and spill, but this one is held
securely by the cup holder. The cost was less than $10.

Valve Directions
Every year when winterizing our motorhome, my husband would
ask me, "Which valves do I close?" By writing and drawing reminders on the water
heater insulation, the information is always available and makes the job so much
easier.

Cookbook Holder
Here's an idea for those with limited counter space in the
galley. When using a cookbook, open the book to the page of your recipe, attach
a wooden pants hanger across the top, and hook it on a nearby cabinet doorknob.
This will save valuable working space; the hanger will keep the book open to the
page you want; and you won't splatter food on the cookbook, since it's up and
out of the way.

Freezer Compartment
I have a plastic basket, small enough for my freezer, that I
place my frozen items in to keep them from falling out or moving around during
travel. When I need an item, I take the basket out of the freezer, set it on the
counter, remove what I need, and return it to the freezer. This works great!
