Medical Information Storage

The MedicKey is a customized USB device that can be used to make sure your important medical information is always with you and available, whenever and wherever you may need it.

When the device is inserted into the USB port of nearly any Windows-based computer, a self-launching program brings up a series of preformatted screens that allow users to add information related to emergency and physician contacts; insurance cards; current medical conditions; prior surgeries; allergies; and more. The device also can hold up to 15 images of scanned records or documents, such as legal directives and medical reports.

Home TV On The Computer

According to product literature, the Sony VAIO LF-V30 LocationFree Base Station makes it possible for travelers to watch programs from their home TV on their computer wherever a broadband Internet connection is available.

The system connects to one's home TV cable or satellite box and can stream TV programs and DVR content over the Internet to watch on a remote computer. It even can be connected to a VCR or DVD player for access to movies and other content. Battery Charger

The Xtreme Charge from PulseTech is a 12-volt, lead-acid battery maintenance charger that also can be used for evaluation and testing.

According to product literature, the charger determines the appropriate charge rate based on the battery's size and condition, and also provides a "Bad Battery" indication if the battery is faulty and cannot be recharged.

As a maintenance charger, Xtreme Charge provides only the appropriate amount of charge rate to keep the battery at a safe operating voltage. However, when connected to a discharged battery, its bulk charge capability will recharge the battery rapidly and safely. Antitheft System

According to product literature, the Anti-Carjack (ACJ) System from SPAL USA is designed to protect vehicles from being carjacked or stolen.

The ACJ System includes a vehicle-based control unit and a personal identification transmitter that establish an electronic dialogue when in near proximity, allowing the vehicle to be started and driven. However, should this dialogue be broken, the system automatically triggers a siren and the vehicle's emergency blinkers and cuts the engine, rendering the vehicle immobile.

Rechargeable Flashlight
