Our current motor home: 39-foot 2005 Newmar Kountry Star Three words that best describe our motorhome: Roomy, extremely comfortable The best thing about our motor home: Allows us to travel whereever we want and in comfort. Other motorhomes we’ve owned: 1995 Winnebago Vectra 35-footer with a 230-HP Diesel Pusher We decided to buy a motorhome because: After I retired we decided to travel. Our occupations: I (John) retired after 35 years in the military (USMC and USAF). Nancy is retiring from Home Depot. Children, grandchildren: I have two daughters and two grandchildren. My wife has two children and four grandchildren, from a previous marriage. We travel in our motorhome: Approximately six months of the year. When we’re not motorhoming we’re living in Myerstown area at our home. Our favorite motorhoming destinations: Frostproof, Florida – So Far What’s the best motorhoming advice you’ve ever received: Relax, take plenty of breaks, and enjoy yourself. Our advice to new motorhomers: Relax, take care of your motorhome and don’t get frustrated if it is new to you. It really gets better with time. When we’re online, Web sites we like to visit: Any that we can learn tips from and location areas to visit. A technical or travel tip we’d like to share with other motorhome owners: Check weights and tires on your coach. We joined FMCA because: It has a lot of nice people and has some great benefits available, such as Flying J fuel discounts and more.
