We decided to buy a motorhome because:
I’ve (Herman) traveled for more than 35 years and don’t like motels.

Our occupations:
Herman: retired sales. Bobbie: legal secretary

Children, grandchildren:
We have one daughter, three sons and nine grandchildren (five girls and four boys).

We travel in our motorhome approximately:
Three months per year

Our favorite motorhoming destinations:
Rallies with friends

Our all-time favorite motorhome trips:
1) Yellowstone National Park, 2) Mount Rushmore

Our “dream” motorhome trip:
New England in the fall

No wind

When our slideout would not retract

Constructing a building to store our motorhome

Eliminate the TVs.

Shallow Creek RV Resort in Gladewater, Texas, and Lagoons RV Resort in Rockport, Texas

When motorhomers visit our state or hometown, they should be sure to see:
Davis Mountains, NASA, Galveston, Cowboys Stadium

Items that we always keep in our motorhome’s refrigerator while traveling:
Beer and wine

What’s the best motorhoming advice you’ve ever received:
Dump the air before leveling.

Our advice to new motorhomers:
Rent before you buy. Rent and like it; then you can choose what you would like. If you don’t like it, then renting is a smaller price.

Behind our motorhome, we tow:
A 2008 Chevrolet Silverado equipped with Remco’s driveshaft disconnect. We use an M&G engine brake and a Blue ox tow bar and baseplate.
