How do I know where to send my mail?

Where should I send my mail?
We can send your mail to a campground but check to be sure the campground will accept mail. Mail can be sent in care of the Post Office at General Delivery. Please use the Post Office website,, to find the correct zip /location for General Delivery. In a larger city, there will be only one Post Office that handles General Delivery and you want to be sure you have the correct zip and go to the correct location. The Post Office should hold General Delivery mail for 30 days but it does not hurt to have us add “Hold for Arrival” if you think it may be more than a week before you will pick up your mail.

Does my mail have to be sent every week?
No, some participants choose to have their mail sent only once a month. We will hold your mail until you have a mailing address.

Will you send packages, medication and certified mail?
Yes, at no additional charge, only your postage cost.

When will I receive my mail?
The delivery time will vary based upon the destination and mailing method. If your mail is sent First Class, please allow up to one week for delivery. Mail that is sent Priority should arrive within two to four business days. We will send your mail based upon the weight of the package. The Post Office considers all mail that weighs 13 ounces or less as First Class. Mail that weighs over 13 ounces is considered Priority. Mail participants may request to have mail sent Priority regardless of weight. There is also the option to use FedEx, which offers overnight, 2 day and 3 day service at a discounted rate.

How much will it cost to send my mail?
Your postage cost will depend on the volume of your mail. If you receive approximately 10 letters and your mail weighs 9 ounces, the postage cost would be $2.52.
Approximately 3 average size magazines and 10 letters will fit in a Priority flat rate envelope for $5.05.

How does my mail get to your mail forwarding office?
Mail participants must complete a temporary change of address with the Post Office to have mail forwarded from their home address to 3590 Round Bottom Rd, PMB #(insert membership number) ,Cincinnati, OH 45244 (FMCA’s mail forwarding office)

How much does it cost to use the service?
There is an $8 monthly service fee for using the service. There is no charge if there is a month mail is not sent, We require a $50 deposit for postage cost.
There are no additional fees.
How will I know if you sent mail to me?
Be sure that you have a current e-mail address on file, and we will send an automated email on your mailing day to let you know mail was sent and the postage cost. Mail participants may also call the mail forwarding office at any time and inquire about their account.

How do I sign-up for FMCA’s mail forwarding service?
Members may enroll online or download and print the Mail Forwarding Information form. Members may also call the mail forwarding office and enroll over the phone. The Post Office has determined that FMCA’s mail forwarding service operates as a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA). All mail forwarding participants must also complete Postal Service Form 1583, Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent (available from the FMCA national office on online under Mail Forwarding Service forms).
