FMCA Member Directory

Stoppin' Spots
Members listed as Stoppin' Spots in this online directory have volunteered their services to aid fellow members in their travels. Four categories of services are listed, and members providing one or more of these services are coded with symbols preceding their names to indicate which service(s) they have offered to provide. Click on the "More Info" symbol to retrieve more detailed membership information.

The four categories are:

"Stop Over Spot" This is indicated by a solid triangular symbol preceding the name of the member offering this service. This symbol indicates that FMCA members are welcome to stop over at the member's home for a 24-hour emergency stop.

"Come Visit" This is indicated by a solid square preceding the name of the member offering this service. This symbol indicates that FMCA members are welcome to visit these members on a friendship basis for a 24-hour period, unless they are invited by the host member to stay longer. Remember, if these members didn't want you to stop, they wouldn't have offered this friendly gesture. On your next trip, why not make it a point to visit as many of our members as possible?

"Mechanic's Helper" This is indicated by a large solid dot preceding the name of the member offering this service. Members whose names are preceded by this symbol are available to advise FMCAers whose motorhomes have broken down on the road as to where in that area you can obtain good, knowledgeable motorhome service. In other words, if your motorhome breaks down, help from a fellow FMCA member who is familiar with the mechanical service in his area is only a phone call away.

"Pinch Hit Driver" This is indicated by a star preceding the name of the member offering this service. Members who, because of an emergency situation, need someone to return their coach for them should look to this listing. Keep in mind that members who live in either the coach's current location or its destination defray any costs incurred by the pinch hit driver.

Those of you who would like to volunteer your help along with those already listed in this online directory should contact the Membership Services Department at the FMCA National Office (8192 Clough Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45244; 800-543-3622; fax 513-388-5314; membership@fmca.com) and ask to be listed in FMCA's "Stoppin' Spots" category.

The individuals listed in the "Stop Over Spot," "Come Visit," "Mechanic's Helper" and "Pinch Hit Driver" compilation have asked that they be included, and any services offered by them are provided by them as individuals and not from the Family Motor Coach Association Inc. The Association cannot attest to the reliability of any such service and accepts no responsibility.
