My Current motorhome:
A 2007 Fleetwood Bounder, gas
Other motorhomes I have owned:
A 2001 Fleetwood Bounder, diesel
Two words that best describe my
current motorhome:
Comfortable riding
The best thing about my motorhome:
I like everything about it.
I decided to buy a motorhome because:
Before my spouse, Warren, passed away in 2000, we knew that I
couldn’t keep up the house.
Occupation:
Retired factory worker
Children:
I have one son, two grandchildren and one stepdaughter.
The best thing about motorhoming:
The people you meet
My favorite motorhoming destination:
Traveling throughout Texas
My “dream” motorhome trip:
Tour the Northwest and parts of Mexico
My perfect day of motorhome travel:
Light traffic and stopping at Flying J Travel Plazas
My worst motorhoming experience:
When the tow bar came unhooked on one side
My motorhoming pet peeve:
The auto drivers who cut you off, not thinking that a motorhome
doesn’t stop like a car.
The best addition I’ve made to my
motorhome:
Satellite TV
A special feature of my motorhome:
It came with a 2-Way Walkie/Talkie Radio Package. Walkie-talkies
don’t do much good, since I travel by myself.
If I could change one thing about our
motorhome:
Have a better kitchen area.
Something about motorhoming that I
know now but did not know when I started:
How well I’d like it
When driving the motorhome the most
important thing to remember is:
Use your mirrors and rearview monitoring camera, if you have one.
I joined FMCA because:
To keep up on RV news and new things related to motorhoming
My hobbies/interests:
I volunteer at campgrounds.
Favorite restaurant: I don’t eat
out too much.
If I were awarded a free shopping
spree at any store:
I can always find something at Camping World, even if I don’t need
it.
Favorite campground:
RVExpress RV Park in Marshfield, Mo.
When motorhome owners visit my state,
they should be sure to see:
Amish country in Ohio — the Walnut Creek Cheese Store is fantastic.
Items that are always in my motorhome
refrigerator:
Cheese and fruit
My advice to new motorhomers:
Do a lot of shopping to make sure you have all you need and want
from a motor coach.
Behind my motorhome, I tow:
A 1999 four-door Chevrolet Malibu, using a tow bar
When I’m online, I’m:
