Holiday Rambler debuts Aluma-Lite Type C

Holiday Rambler's 2011 Aluma-Lite Class C motorhomeMonaco RV has introduced the new Type C Aluma-Lite from Holiday Rambler. According to a company press release, the Aluma-Lite is easy to maneuver, family-friendly gas mileage-friendly.

Though smaller in stature, the Aluma-Lite is built with large-size features. For example, a king-size 61-gallon fresh water tank allows for extended camping capabilities. An extra-large exterior bay stores all equipment in a central, convenient location.

The Aluma-Lite features a 26-inch-wide entrance door. The kitchen boasts a 42-inch-by-18-inch space accented by a 48-inch-by-36-inch window at the dinette. A king-size functional wardrobe measures 25 inches wide, 43 inches tall and 25 inches deep, providing storage space for extended trips.

Holiday Rambler Aluma-Lite interiorFor improved fuel economy, the Aluma-Lite front cap is aerodynamically designed to reduce wind turbulence and drag. The battery access is built into the entryway for easy maintenance, along with a 5,000-pound hitch for towing.

The Aluma-Lite will be available in five floor plans, from 23 to 31 feet.

“We have listened to our dealers needs and responded with the Aluma-Lite Class C, which hits today’s new lower price point segment,” said Scott Jacobson, national sales manager for Holiday Rambler. “The Aluma-Lite addresses the need for a smaller, more agile RV, with large fresh water capacity and exterior storage, at an affordable price point."
