Thor Motor Coach showed its A & C Evolution, or A.C.E. motorhome, at the 2010 National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky. The A.C.E. is designed to appeal to type A motorhome and type C motorhome enthusiasts.

“... the A.C.E. has hit the market with unique industry-changing features never seen before," said Bill Fenech, Thor Motor Coach’s president and CEO. "A lot of the excitement comes from common sense innovations that will change our industry. We are incredibly excited for our dealers and retail customers.”

The A.C.E motorhome from Thor Motor Coach has ''industry-changing features,'' says CEO Bill Fenech. The Evolution's one-piece windshield and one-piece fiberglass front cap’s integrated visor are designed to help eliminate direct sunlight and heat. On the inside, the floor-level cockpit window on the passenger side is designed eliminate blind spots that can arise when using the rear view mirrors.

Above the driver’s seat is a a large conversation mirror, which offers a complete view of the living space.

Camp-Sense storage compartments on the passenger side are situated under the patio awning. A basement storage area with large, side-opening doors allows easy access from either side of the coach.

All heat-producing appliances are on the driver’s side of the coach, away from the activities. All of the campsite hookups are located on the driver’s side rear of the coach.

The A.C.E. has several pet friendly features, including a multi-purpose drawer in the bathroom, under the shower. The drawer includes an FDA-approved pet food liner that can be removed for cleaning or when using the drawer for storage. The A.C.E. also has a Pet-Link, an integrated exterior multipurpose tie-down.

The extra-wide entry door area contains ample storage spots, including a mud compartment for dirty shoes and gear. A storage drawer and nook have been incorporated into the rubber tread entry steps. This is ideal for storing tools, gloves and other RV gear without having to track through the coach. In addition, a utility closet is located inside the entry door, so coats and brooms can be stored out of the way.

Other features of the A.C.E. EVO29.1 floor plan: an electric overhead bed, pantry storage in the kitchen, dual linen closets in the bathroom, and a dash work station with 12-volt and 110-volt connections.
