Nexus RV will debut motorhomes in Perry

Nexus RV, a factory-direct manufacturer of Type C and Type B-plus motorhomes, will debut its first motorhome lines March 14 to 17 at FMCA's Family Reunion and Motorhome Showcase in Perry, Ga.

The Phantom Type C and Viper Type B-plus motorhomes will be displayed at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter during the confab.

"We are in the process of ramping up our production,” Nexus company president Claude Donati said in the Feb. 7 online edition of RV business, an RV trade publication. "February is our staging month and we hope to start bringing product off the end of the line on March 1."

Phantom and Viper models will be sold factory-direct from company headquarters in Elkhart, Ind. The company also will carry a Nexus Certified Pre-owned inventory.

Nexus has service arrangements with 200 independent service centers throughout the country,  said Donati, formerly vice president of the motorized division at Gulf Stream Coach Inc. "The service centers don’t sell product; they just service RVs."

The Phantom mini-motorhome is available in five 23- to 32-foot floor plans with up to two slideouts. Manufacturer's suggested retail price: $85,300.

The Viper B-plus is available in three 23- to 29-foot floor plans and up to three slideouts. MSRP: $89,600.

Factory-direct sales will allow Nexus to sell units for as much as $5,000 less than its competitors, Donati told RV Business. The average Nexus’ selling cost is expected to be between $65,000 and $70,000, he said.

The company's Facebook page states, "Nexus RV is committed to saving customer thousands of dollars, adding thousand of features to the product at no additional cost and supporting our customers with the very best service in the industry."

The company tagline is, "We Build Your dream."
