Winnebago Industries has introduced the 42JD floor plan to its lineup of 2012 Itasca Ellipse type A motorhomes. The Ellipse 42JD is built on a Maxum chassis and is equipped with three slideouts, including a full-wall slide on the street side.

Highlights of the 42JD floor plan:

• a large rear bathroom in the rear with his and her sinks;
• dual wardrobes in the bedroom;
• a lounge area with opposing couches; and
• two TVs in the living area – a 32-inch LED HDTV mid-coach and a 40-inch LCD HDTV in the front overhead.

The dining area offers a buffet with extendable dining table and chairs and a four-door refrigerator. A residential-style Maytag French-door refrigerator is optional.

The galley features Pantry x2, which offers double the pantry storage thanks to swing-out doors. High-end Corian solid-surface countertops, backsplash and sink covers are additional galley highlights.

The large master bath includes his and her sinks, a large curved Big Shower with skylight, dual master bath wardrobes and optional stacked washer and dryer. A guest bath is positioned for easy access mid-coach.

The bedroom features the Ideal Rest-powered king bed and large dual wardrobes along with a 26-inch LCD HDTV and a rear stereo system with AM/FM/CD/DVD player, iPod, and MP3 input and built-in alarm clock.
