Meatballs in Mushroom Gravy

4 to 6 servings
Meatballs: - 1 lb. ground chuck
- ¼ lb. ground veal
- ¼ lb. ground pork¼ lb. mild sausage
- 1 egg
- 2 T. dried parsley
- ½ C. grated parmesan cheese1
- ½ t. salt
- ¼ t. pepper
- 1 ½ C. bread crumbs
Gravy: - 1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms, drained
- 1 can (10.75 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 C. sour cream
- ⅓ C. flour
- ½ T. Worchestershire sauce
- ¼ C. dry sherry
Methods/steps
Combine all gravy ingredients in Crock-Pot and stir until blended. Mix together all meatball ingredients and shape into meatballs. Brown in skillet. Add meatballs to gravy mixture in Crock-Pot. Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours. Serve over noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes. Note: You may substitute a 16-oz. bag of frozen meatballs for quicker prep time.
