Virginia considering RV Friendly bill

Jan. 25, 2008

Virginia could be the next RV friendly state.

House Bill 1130 would allow retailers who purchase highway exit gas/food/lodging service logo signs to affix or include an RV Friendly logo on their business logos.

The RV Friendly logo tells RV travelers which gas, food, lodging or camping facilities can easily accommodate RVs, including both motorhomes and towable units.

Virginia would be the 15th state to adopt the RV Friendly initiative, joining Oregon, Louisiana, Florida, Tennessee, Washington, Texas, New Mexico, Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Idaho, Illinois and California.

HB 1130 was assigned to the Transportation Committee in early January.
