Saint Paul. Minn., offers attractions and
exhibits that have a strong appeal to groups. Here are a few gems
motorhome travelers might wish to consider.
Science Museum of Minnesota
The “A Day in Pompeii” exhibit runs through Jan. 6, 2008, at the
Science Museum of Minnesota. In A.D. 79 the Roman city of Pompeii
was buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. The debris and ash
that so suddenly ended life in Pompeii also entombed the city in a
virtual time capsule, making it one of the world's most complete
archeological sites. Visitors to the exhibit will see wall-sized
frescoes, marble and bronze sculptures, coins, jewelry and even
casts of some of the victims of the eruption.
The museum is located on the Mississippi River
banks in downtown Saint Paul. It contains many hands-on exhibits, a
science-themed miniature golf course and one of the world's only
convertible dome movie theaters.

museum.
