Remembering “The RV Doctor.” Click here to read a short tribute to Gary Bunzer, who passed away on April 17, 2020, and to learn about memorial donations in his honor.
Due to the COVID-19 virus and a “Stay at Home” order issued by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, FMCA's business operations will not be operating at full capacity until at least August 1, 2020. We will do our best to service you in a timely manner, but could be delayed in responding.

If you like the idea of being "at home on the road," consider joining this active group of FMCA members.

Chapter Spotlight

What is it like to live in your motorhome? Ask a Full Timers chapter member, and you can find out. Our purpose is to promote social, recreational, and information-exchange activities for members who are living full-time in their motorhomes or those who are interested in gaining information about the lifestyle.

Our chapter actively serves fellow FMCA members. At FMCA's international Family Reunions, we volunteer to hand out treats during the Ice Cream Social. It takes teamwork and is lots of fun.  We also facilitate the Full-Timing seminar, wherein we provide general knowledge about living in a motorhome. We are not experts, so we talk only about our own full-timing experiences, and discuss the advantages and disadvantages as we see them. We do not make recommendations about handling specific problems regarding full-time living in a motorhome. We hope to help attendees decide whether full-timing is right for them.

We also like to exchange information among ourselves about our favorite RVing topics: recipes, restaurants, recreation, rest stops, and repair facilities. Much of this information is in a CD titled "Full Timer Favorites," which we give to new members.

We drive various types and makes of motorhomes and come from all walks of life. Some of us are retired, others are semi-retired, and some are still working. Since our chapter is part of FMCA’s International Area, we have members from throughout the United States and Canada. Many chapter members live in their motorhomes most of the year, if not all of it; some spend six months or less traveling. Anywhere is home.

We hold two rallies each year, approximately two weeks before the start of FMCA Family Reunions. New members feel welcome immediately, as games and activities begin early and are part of every rally day. We prefer catered meals, and we're usually able to have breakfast and dinner served to us each of the four days. On occasion, we've cooked our own meals and had fun doing it.  When possible, we explore the area. In the past we've toured interesting companies, gone on boat trips, played golf, listened to speakers, and enjoyed local entertainment.

Our next rally is February 23 to 27, 2011, in Hoboken, Georgia, a couple of weeks prior to FMCA’s 85th Family Reunion and Motorhome Showcase in Perry. Come visit and see what we are about.
