Expect great entertainment and lots of it during the convention. Get ready for four nights of terrific entertainment. Along with toe-tapping music to start your day at coffee hour and mid-day acts sure to keep a bounce in your step.

Rusty Rierson Band

Enjoy a great night of country music humor as Kansas native Rusty Rierson and his band performs on the Main Stage on Friday evening.
Rusty began singing in church as a youngster, and it soon became his passion. He learned guitar when his father suggested that they take lessons together. In 2005, Rierson won the statewide ”YF&R talent find contest“ hosted by Farm Bureau and performed at the Kansas State Fair, where he is annually invited back.
Rusty has performed throughout the United States and abroad. He often travels with the “Better Horses Radio Show,” performing at rodeos, barrel races, and horse events all over the Midwest. Rusty has opened for, shared the stage, and worked with artists such as Sawyer Brown, Doug Stone, Dustin Lynch, Suzy Bogguss, Joe Diffie, Maddie & Tae, John Anderson, and many others.
Rusty always pays tribute to George Strait, Don Williams, and some of his other heroes, along with performing his own music. Rusty has produced eight albums and one DVD, and he's appeared on numerous television and radio shows.

Acoustic Crossroads

Acoustic Crossroads began performing their unique mixture of classic rock songs in 2019 and have become one of Lincoln‘s most popular acoustic groups. The trio of Glenn Strickland (guitars, harmonica, vocals), Paul Brinkman (guitars, bass, vocals), and Jerry Bushnell (percussion and vocals) will have attendees singing along to songs made famous by Elvis, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, and more.

The Whitesidewalls

Prepare yourself for a trip back to the golden age of rock and roll music on Saturday night with The Whitesidewalls.
In 1972, college classmates Pat Brown and Eric Satterlund discovered a mutual love for 1950s and ‘60s music. They decided to form The Whitesidewalls, which quickly grew in popularity, becoming fixtures in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, music scene.
The band today features Pat “Hound Dog” Brown; David “Swanee” Swanson; Brad “Gino Gambucci” Nelson; Bill “Bobby Maestro” and Erik “Rocky Beaumont” Swenson. All five play multiple instruments (not simultaneously) and perform classic songs made famous by Elvis, the Beach Boys, Buddy Holly, the Everly Brothers, and other stars of the era.
The Whitesidewalls continue to bring the best of rock and roll, rockabilly, and doo-wop from 1954 to 1964 to thousands of friends, fans, and dancers each year. You won‘t want to miss this show.

Out Loud Band

Dust off your dance shoes and warm up your singing voice as the Out Loud Band from Lincoln gets the “Golden Getaway” party started with an energetic night of music. The five-piece band formed in 2011 and has performed more than 200 shows, always with the same members -- Jon on vocals; Kyle and Jeff playing guitars; Matt on the bass; and Barry banging on the drums). Out Loud performs a variety of hits from the 1960s to today, featuring mainly rock & roll standards; they also cover pop, country, funk, and blues favorites. Out Loud has been called one of the area‘s top bands and one of the “Lincoln bands you should see live” by the Lincoln Journal Star newspaper. The band has performed at the Pinnacle Bank Arena Festival Lot, Pinewood Bowl Theater, Haymarket Park, and the Railyard. With more than 100 songs in its repertoire, the band is sure to perform favorites for you to sing along to and dance to.

Frustrated Maestros

What better way to get your day started that with a rousing musical performance by FMCA‘s very own Frustrated Maestros. This eclectic ensemble is composed of members from the various Frustrated Maestros chapters and have been a favorite at conventions since the first Frustrated Maestros chapter was formed in 1981.
Don‘t miss the Maestros‘ performance leading into the Ice Cream Social on Friday.

High Heel Band

Now in their 16th year, the High Heel Band out of Omaha, Nebraska, features Lisa Larsen, who is recognized for her high energy, amazing vocals, and, of course, high heels! She is accompanied by some of Omaha‘s finest musicians including Jon Packard on bass and vocals; Cory Pawloski playing lead guitar and vocals; Barry Stackhouse on keyboards; and Dakota Nielsen on drum and vocals. The family-friendly band performs classic rock, from the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, contemporary country, disco, and a few ballads. So get ready to kick up (or kick off) your heels and dance the night away!

Kenny Ray Horton

Kenny ray Horton was raised on the Southern Gospel harmonies of Albert E. Brumley (I‘ll Fly Away) that could be heard through those Ozark Mountains of his childhood.
He followed his dreams to Nashville where he learned from a select group of fellow musicians and songwriters including Blake Shelton, Verlon Thompson and John Jarvis. This move provided him with wide-open opportunities to hone his craft as a songwriter and performer .
He joined the United States Navy in 2000 and when a spot came available in the Navy‘s premier country and bluegrass band, “Country Current,” Horton was off to Washington D.C. to continue his musical journey.
For Kenny Ray Horton there has never been a difference in playing for a fair, festival, resort, opera house or theatre audience or the President of the United States. Entertaining knows no boundaries and bringing quality music and entertainment to that audience is always first and foremost for this entertainer. He has been recognized for his flawless delivery of our nation‘s National Anthem which he has performed at countless national events.
With his retirement from the Navy in 2022, Kenny Ray is set to fulfill new dreams as a country and bluegrass performer, with a pair of albums, “A Canary‘s Song” and “Say Anything” available and more to come.

The Sting

The Sting stars Paul Newman and Robert Redford as two con men in 1930s Chicago. After a friend is killed by the mob, they try to get even by attempting to pull off the ultimate sting. No one is to be trusted as the twists unfold, leading up to one of the greatest double-crosses in movie history. The con is on in this 1973 film that received seven Academy Awards.
