Read Member F470953 GAIL RUSSELL's Review of the Tech Connect+ Sprint MIFI Plan Below:

Signed up for FMCA Tech Connect+ and taking advantage of the Sprint Unlimited Hotspot Plan

I would say I started with Hotspot Authorization at 11:30AM, it is now 8PM and my Hotspot Battery is at 32%.

I am very pleased with both the Franklin R-910 Hotspot and the Sprint unlimited data plan. Everything is working flawlessly. I am in a rural area, 30 miles from the nearest city (Buffalo, NY) and I have had enough signal strength to do everything I wanted to do on my computers & tablets and ereaders, fast & flawlessly.

I found the Hotspot intuitive to use and easy to operate. I even liked the way it felt with its rubber armour coating! After 8-1/2 hours of continuous running, the Hotspot feels cool to the touch all over. If I had to tell one Hotspot fault, it would be the display screen font type is very small, making it hard to read.

Tomorrow I will play around with more of my WiFi capable devices and let you know what I think. The unlimited data plan is just great to have! No more running to public hotspots for me like when my old data plan was getting near its limit. I am in Computer Nerd Heaven!

FMCA members Jeff and Debbie McCulloughFMCA membership number: F409759 (we joined in 2009)

Our current motorhome:
A 2006 Fleetwood Providence

Three words that best describe our motorhome:
Luxury, beautiful, home

The best thing about our motorhome:
Our family can all have fun with it and see many different places together.

Other motorhomes we’ve owned:
A 1986 Suncrest and a 1996 Fleetwood Vision Pace Arrow

We decided to buy a motorhome because:
We wanted to go more places than our boat would take us!

Our occupations:
I (Jeff) am retired from law enforcement. Debbie is retired from the office staff of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW). Now we are business owners.

We have two great kids -- one  teenager and the other one younger who thinks he is a teenager.

We travel in our motorhome approximately:
Three months of the year. With two kids still in school, the traveling stops when school starts and resumes when they go on breaks!?

Our favorite motorhoming destinations:
The Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, and of course anywhere there is a theme park or water park for the kids!

Our all-time favorite motorhome trip or motorhoming memory:
Watching Close Encounters of the Third Kind at the foot of Devil's Tower, Wyoming.

Our "dream" motorhome trip:
We are living the dream each time we leave our home in Albuquerque and get to travel and go where we want in this great country!

Our perfect day of motorhome travel:
Everyone is very tired and ready to get a good night’s sleep after a day full of adventure!

Our worst motorhoming experience:
Well, so far, that would be the shower valve in our Suncrest breaking and we weren’t able to buy new parts for it. The glue worked great! Followed by a refrigerator door breaking off at the hinge in the Pace Arrow and using duct tape and glue to fix it. And those aren't too bad!

Our motorhoming pet peeve:
Maintenance and keeping the coach looking sharp

The best addition we’ve made to our motorhome:
Window shade (sunglasses) for front windshield followed by awnings. Keeping it cool!

If we could change one thing about our motorhome, it would be:
Better fuel mileage and more power! Who can’t use those??

Something about motorhoming that we know now but did NOT know when we started:
How fun it would be!

When driving a motorhome, the most important thing to remember is:
Take your time and drive safely!

Our advice for other motorhome owners:
From the biggest fanciest rigs to the smaller ones, they all take work when setting up at a new site. Try to make it fun and not WORK! Everyone by you or with you will stay happier. Enjoy life!

Our hobbies:
My wife is as busy as they come and has too many to list! We both work out to stay in shape, go off-roading in our Jeep. We entertain at home more than she would like! We stay busy with kids’ activities such as football, baseball, basketball … need I say more?

Favorite restaurant:
By far, my wife’s cooking at home! After that, wherever she wants to go for a break!

Something others would be surprised to know about us:
We have been married over 20 years.

Lake Powell is one of the McCulloughs' favorite campgrounds, when they can get a good site.If we were awarded a shopping spree at the store of our choice, the store we’d choose is:
Fleetwood RV dealer

Favorite campground:
Sometimes, Lake Powell. It depends on what site we get.

When motorhome owners visit our state or hometown, they should be sure to see:
The Albuquerque Balloon Fest!

Items that we always keep in our motorhome’s refrigerator:
Milk! Then maybe some beer.

Our advice to new motorhomers:
Take your time on your trips. This is not like going in a car.  It takes longer to arrive anywhere your going. Remember, you bought it to have fun, so don’t make it seem like work.

Behind our motorhome, we tow:
A 2007 Jeep Wrangle Rubicon with a Blue Ox tow bar.

Pets that travel with us:
Hamlet, our dog

When we’re online, Web sites we like to visit:

The McCulloughs enjoy off-roading in their Jeep towed vehicle.A technical or travel tip we’d like to share with other motorhome owners:
Keep a good set of tires on your motorhome and maintain them. They are keeping you safe going down the road.

We joined FMCA because:
To meet new people who enjoy RVing like we do.

FMCA chapters that we belong to:
We’re looking into joining the CAT RV Club chapter. I have to find that engine number first.

Other comments:
Stay safe on the road.
