Read Member F470953 GAIL RUSSELL's Review of the Tech Connect+ Sprint MIFI Plan Below:

Signed up for FMCA Tech Connect+ and taking advantage of the Sprint Unlimited Hotspot Plan

I would say I started with Hotspot Authorization at 11:30AM, it is now 8PM and my Hotspot Battery is at 32%.

I am very pleased with both the Franklin R-910 Hotspot and the Sprint unlimited data plan. Everything is working flawlessly. I am in a rural area, 30 miles from the nearest city (Buffalo, NY) and I have had enough signal strength to do everything I wanted to do on my computers & tablets and ereaders, fast & flawlessly.

I found the Hotspot intuitive to use and easy to operate. I even liked the way it felt with its rubber armour coating! After 8-1/2 hours of continuous running, the Hotspot feels cool to the touch all over. If I had to tell one Hotspot fault, it would be the display screen font type is very small, making it hard to read.

Tomorrow I will play around with more of my WiFi capable devices and let you know what I think. The unlimited data plan is just great to have! No more running to public hotspots for me like when my old data plan was getting near its limit. I am in Computer Nerd Heaven!

Our perfect day of motorhome travel:
Leave camp at 9 a.m. and drive until 3 p.m. with no travel deadlines (someday).

Our motorhoming pet peeve:
Campgrounds that will not let you wash your motorhome

The best addition or alteration we’ve made to our motorhome:
Decorating to make it our home away from home

If we could change one thing about our motorhome, it would be:
Remove all carpet except in the bedroom

Something about motorhoming that we know now but did NOT know when we started:
Too many things to list after 18 years

When driving a motorhome, the most important thing to remember is:

Keep traveling and experience at least one new location each year.

Our hobbies:
Charles: musician, golf and all sports. Sheila: working out and shopping.

Favorite campground:
So far, and subject to change w/o notice: Gulf Waters RV Resort in southwest Florida

Items that we always keep in our motorhome’s refrigerator while traveling:
Diet Mountain Dew, water, and great food

What’s the best motorhoming advice you’ve ever received:
Be good to your coach and it will be good to you.

Our advice to new motorhomers:
Try a small gas-powered motorhome (used or inexpensive) first to see all that goes with motorhoming.

Behind our motorhome, we tow:
A 2003 Jeep Liberty with a tow bar

Pets that travel with us: Maddie, a golden retriever

We joined FMCA because:
They give you valuable info and the road service through Coach-Net is outstanding.
