Read Member F470953 GAIL RUSSELL's Review of the Tech Connect+ Sprint MIFI Plan Below:

Signed up for FMCA Tech Connect+ and taking advantage of the Sprint Unlimited Hotspot Plan

I would say I started with Hotspot Authorization at 11:30AM, it is now 8PM and my Hotspot Battery is at 32%.

I am very pleased with both the Franklin R-910 Hotspot and the Sprint unlimited data plan. Everything is working flawlessly. I am in a rural area, 30 miles from the nearest city (Buffalo, NY) and I have had enough signal strength to do everything I wanted to do on my computers & tablets and ereaders, fast & flawlessly.

I found the Hotspot intuitive to use and easy to operate. I even liked the way it felt with its rubber armour coating! After 8-1/2 hours of continuous running, the Hotspot feels cool to the touch all over. If I had to tell one Hotspot fault, it would be the display screen font type is very small, making it hard to read.

Tomorrow I will play around with more of my WiFi capable devices and let you know what I think. The unlimited data plan is just great to have! No more running to public hotspots for me like when my old data plan was getting near its limit. I am in Computer Nerd Heaven!

Who will become members of the RV/MH Hall of Fame Class of 2014? The Hall is seeking nominations.
The RV/MH Hall of Fame Selection Committee has issued a call for nominations for the Class of 2014. Nominations must be submitted by Oct. 31, 2013.

"If you know of anyone who you believe deserves to be nominated for induction into the Hall of Fame, now is the time to send in his or her nomination," said Barry Cole, chairman of the RV/MH Hall of Fame. "I hear the question from colleagues on a regular basis, 'Why isn't this person or that person in the Hall of Fame?' Chances are, the reason is that no one has ever nominated them. My advice to them is, Nominate them — don't wait for someone else to do it.' "

The RV/MH Hall of Fame, located in Elkhart, Ind., houses a museum of vintage RVs from 1913 to the 1970s; a Go RVing Hall showcasing the latest current models; an Exhibitors Hall where industry supply firms tell their company story; and the world's largest library of RV and manufactured housing-related literature and photos.

Darryl Searer, Hall president, said, "The Hall welcomes nominations from all RV and manufactured housing sectors -- manufacturers, dealers, campgrounds, housing communities, suppliers, user groups, trade media, associations, etc -- for the class of 2014 and beyond.

"The RV/MH Heritage Foundation board of directors recently approved a new and improved process for nominating and has made the nomination guidelines and forms available online at www.rvmhhalloffame.org/pages/nominations.cfm."

According to the new guidelines, anyone can nominate a person to the Hall of Fame that meets the eligibility requirements.  The only people who may not be considered are those who currently serve on the Hall's Selection Committee.

To be eligible the nominee must be, or have been, an active participant in any segment of the recreation vehicle or manufactured housing industries for a minimum of 25 years.

Also, the nomination form must be filled out in its entirety and must be accompanied by three supporting letters (no more, no less) that meet the Hall's guidelines for these letters. Incomplete nominations cannot be considered. If the nominee is not selected within three years, he or she remains eligible only if the nomination is resubmitted and refreshed with additional information.

When evaluating a potential nominee, the selection committee will consider the nominee's overall contributions to the good of the industry, to include both his or her positions, accomplishments and innovations on the job as well as volunteer work both inside and outside the industry, with special emphasis on volunteer work done on behalf of state and national associations and owner groups, the Hall of Fame itself and other industry-related organizations and causes. Favorable responses to these two basic questions are good starting points for Hall consideration.

If a completed nomination form and three properly-prepared seconding letters are received by October 31 of any year, the nominee will be in the pool of candidates considered for the following year's class and for two years beyond that if not selected that year

The Hall's Selection Committee will announce its selections in January and those chosen will be inducted at the Hall's annual Induction dinner in August. The Hall's bylaws allow for up to 10 inductees per year.

Cole said, "The Selection Committee is made up of an equal number of members of the RV and Manufactured Housing industries, and members will only vote on nominees from their respective industries."

Once the nomination form and supporting letters have been completed, the nominations may be submitted by mail, in person at the Hall, or by fax at 574-293-3466.

"Time is running out for nominations to the Hall's Class of 2014," Cole said, "so I urge my colleagues to honor their friends and co-workers by submitting their nominations before the October 31 deadline."
