How often do your pets accompany you on motorhome trips?
What do you like best about motorhoming with your pets?
Seeing the excitement in them when we get ready for a trip and arrive at our destination.
Do your pets have any favorite travel destinations?
Any place the sun is shining and the people are friendly.
Was it easy for your pets to adapt to motorhome travel?
Yes. They each selected a seat and couch as their own.
Did you have to modify your motorhome to better accommodate your pets?
No, we just bring their dog kennels for their safety. And we put a blanket on the dash to protect the dash and keep Winston and Kati from slipping.
Do your pets have a favorite spot in the motorhome?
When we are parked they love to sit on the dash to do a lot of people watching.
What are your pets' favorite toys?
Kati's is a stuffed blue bear that she has saved since she was a puppy; all the others she has chewed apart. Winston loves to play tug-of-war with a rope toy.
What is your favorite activity to do with your pets while traveling?
Taking them to any lake or river as they love water, and taking them for walks.
Advice for others who travel with pets or are considering traveling with pets?
Bring adequate-size dog crates and their favorite toys to keep them occupied so you may have some free time. Also, get familiar where the nearest vet is in your area just in case a need arises for one.
Other comments: Your pets give you unconditional love and are always happy to see you regardless of the kind of day you had. All they ask in return is your attention, love and perhaps an occasional walk or ear scratch. That's not a bad trade-off.
