The Magic Mile

Start your morning with some good old-fashioned exercise and camaraderie! Join fellow FMCA members for The Magic Mile, a 1-mile course that will take you through the fairgrounds, giving you a chance to see the different areas of the convention. Participants are welcome to walk, run, or ride mobility scooters. You can even bring your furry four-legged friends! The best part about The Magic Mile? It's for a good cause! All of the proceeds raised from registration fees will be donated directly to a charity in the local area. To sign up for The Magic Mile, click here.

For many attendees, the primary reason they come to FMCA conventions is for the learning opportunities available through the seminar program. Where else can you find so much information available in one place? Throughout the four-day event, industry experts, manufacturer representatives, and service providers convey the latest information about RVs and the traveling lifestyle. The seminar line-up will be updated regularly on this site.

Join the FMCA Supersized Book Club!

Perry convention attendees will have the opportunity to meet featured speaker, Gerri Almand, at FMCA's Supersized Book Club on Saturday, March 13, 1:00 p.m. Gerri will discuss her book The Reluctant RV Wife!

Gerri Almand is a retired social worker turned writer, storyteller, and speaker. Through her husband's retirement crisis, which included buying an RV and declaring they should travel, Gerri found her voice as an RVing travel/memoir writer. After four years and forty-nine states, Gerri shed her reluctance and embraced a minimalistic lifestyle as a full time RVing nomad.

Gerri's debut book. The Reluctant RV Wife (August 2019), is in its second year of being an Amazon bestseller and has won several awards, including the 2020 International Book Awards as a Finalist. Her second book, Home Is Where The RV Is (September 2020), has also risen to bestselling ranks on Amazon. Her current work-in-progress, Running From COVID In Our RV Cocoon, will be released in early to mid-2021.
