Will FMCA or Verizon bill me?
Upon sign up, you are a Verizon customer and subject to their terms and conditions. Verizon will bill monthly for the service. All billing, customer service, and technical support questions should be directed to Verizon.
What if I need to cancel or to replace my device?
The Early Termination Fee (ETF) is $175, decremented an amount each month the line is in service. A customer may terminate service for any reason within 14 days of activation. If the device is purchased at a promotional price – $0.01 is a promotional price – you must return it within the device return period to avoid being assessed an Early Termination Fee. You will also be responsible for all applicable usage fees, prorated access charges, taxes, surcharges or other charges that accrued to your account through the termination date.
How do I know what device model I will receive?
The Verizon Jetpack Mifi 7730L has been discontinued. FMCA Members will now receive the newest model, MiFi 8800L. To find out more about this device you can visit:
If you are an existing Verizon customer and want to keep your current device, or inquire about other options, the time to do this is when you call 800-922-0204 once you receive confirmation that your existing line has been registered.
New customers to Verizon who wish to inquire about other options should do so during the recommended call-ahead prior to visiting the Verizon store with your voucher.
Is there any sort of warranty or insurance coverage for the device?
Yes – all devices have a minimum one (1) year manufacturer's warranty. Insurance options are available and will be displayed on the ordering portal during the enrollment process.
Is there a data threshold?
There is no data limit within a given billing cycle. However, you will see decreased speeds upon 25GB of usage in a given billing cycle. Slowdown speeds will range between 200kbps up/down. Normal 4G LTE speeds will resume at the beginning of the new billing cycle.

What about international usage?
Internet access is good for use in the U.S. only. International data packages may be available, but you will need to contact Verizon directly to learn about international options.
What about shipping?
For existing Verizon customers who are getting a new device, your Verizon Jetpack Kit will ship 2-day, overnight shipping at no additional charge, Monday through Friday (no Saturday/Sunday delivery), and is dependent upon availability.
Verizon cannot ship to a PO Box, but can ship to a mail forwarding address. Be sure to allow extra time for your package if you have a mail forwarding provider. Depending on the plan with your mail forwarding provider, there may be additional charges.
A signature is ALWAYS required when carrier delivers the package.
New customers to Verizon are now required to visit a Verizon corporate store to pick up and activate their new device. We recommend calling the store ahead of time to check availability.

Why can't I provide a Ship To address that is different than my Billing Address?
By default, Verizon does this to protect against fraud. If you need to request a separate shipping address than your billing address, you will need to call Verizon's Fraud Line at 888-483-7200 after completing the registration and upon receiving the confirmation email containing your Order Number, which you will need to reference when calling Verizon's fraud line.
What happens at the end of my 2-year contract with Verizon?
Verizon will honor the discounted price for 2 years from your sign up date. After your 2-year contract with Verizon has expired, pricing is subject to the terms of a new or revised agreement between FMCA and Verizon.
How many mobile hotspots can I order?
The number of devices is limited to 1 device per membership number. During the registration process you will see the option for quantities of 2, 3, 4, and 5, but Verizon’s online portal will only allow you to continue by selecting a quantity of 1.
Can I suspend my data plan when I’m not using it?
Consumer customers have 2 options to suspend their service for up to 180 days during a rolling 12-month period:
- Reduced Rate Billing - Up to 90 days per rolling 12 month period.
- $10 charge per month.
- Lines that have monthly service charges less than $10 do not have the option for reduced rate billing.
- These customers can suspend with billing only.
- Reduced rate charge is prorated based on the amount of time the customer suspends.
- Full Billing - Once customers use their 90-day reduced rate billing allowance, customers can suspend for an additional 90 days by paying the normal monthly rate.
